This section describes the front and rear panel LED indicators for Arrow appliance platforms running Qumulo Core.
LED Color Codes
Arrow platforms use the following standard LED color codes:
| LED Color | Status | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Green (solid) | Normal | System operating normally |
| Green (blinking) | Activity | Disk/network activity |
| Amber/Yellow | Warning | Attention required |
| Red | Critical | Failure or critical error |
| Off | Inactive | Component powered off or not present |
Front Panel LEDs

| Network Activity | Green | Network traffic indicator |
| Drive Activity | Green | Drive I/O activity |
| UID | Blue | Unit identification (for locating server in rack) |
Drive LEDs
Each drive bay has activity and status LEDs:

| Status | Amber | Drive warning or predictive failure |
| Status | Off | Drive not present or powered off |
Using the UID LED
The Unit Identification (UID) LED helps locate a specific server in a rack:
- Activate the UID LED through IPMI web interface, IPMI command line, or front panel button.
- The blue UID LED illuminates on both front and rear panels.
- Locate the server with the illuminated blue LED.
- Deactivate the UID LED after identification.
