LED Overview
Cisco platforms include LED indicators for:
- Power status - Indicates server power state
- System health - Indicates overall server health and fault conditions
- Drive activity and status - Indicates drive operations and failures
- Network link and activity - Indicates network connectivity
- Locator - Helps identify a specific server in a rack

Using LEDs for Troubleshooting
When troubleshooting hardware issues:
- Check the System Health LED first for an overall status.
- If amber, check CIMC for detailed fault information.
- For drive issues, locate the specific drive bay using the Drive Status LEDs.
- Use the Locator LED to identify the physical server in a rack.
- For power issues, check the Power Supply LEDs on the rear panel.
